Soursop and pear juice

Ingredients

  • Soursop: A large, ripe soursop.
  • Pears: Three to four large ripe pears.
  • Sweetened condensed milk: For the sweet taste and creaminess.
  • Unsweetened condensed milk (Gloria Milk): For more wealth.
  • Orange blossom water: For a floral aroma.
  • Soursop essence: To intensify the natural flavor.
  • Water: For the mixture.
  • Sugar (Optional): Add if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • Ice cubes: For service.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pears: Wash the pears, cut the ends and peel them. Cut them into cubes, removing the core.
  2. Boil the pears: Place the diced pears in a saucepan with water and boil until soft.
  3. Prepare the soursop: Cut the soursop in half. Remove the heart and skin. Carefully extract the white pulp, making sure to remove all the black seeds.
  4. Mix the soursop: Put the soursop pulp in a blender with water and blend until smooth. Filter the mixture through a fine sieve to remove any remaining fibers or seeds.
  5. Mix the pears: Once the pears have cooled, blend them (with their cooking water) until they are smooth. Also filter this mixture to ensure a silky texture.
  6. Mix and sweeten: Mix the soursop juice and pear juice in a large container. Add the sweetened condensed milk, unsweetened condensed milk, orange blossom water and soursop essence. Taste and add sugar if necessary.
  7. Final touch: Add some of the reserved soursop pulp to the juice to give texture (optional).
  8. Serve: Serve the juice chilled over ice cubes.
