Boiled and grilled corn with butter

Ingredients

  • Corn cobs: Fresh corn, stripped of its leaves.
  • Water: Enough to boil the corn.
  • Salt: To season cooking water.
  • Butter or Margarine: Used for grilling and to add flavor.

Preparation Steps

  • Boiling: Start by placing the corn in a pot of water with a pinch of salt. Let it boil until the grains are tender.
  • Preparation for grilling: Once boiled, remove the corn from the water. Prepare your cooking surface (a pan or grill) and add a generous amount of butter or margarine.
  • Grilling: Place the boiled corn in the buttered pan. Rotate the cobs frequently to achieve even golden browning on all sides.
  • Finish: Continue grilling until the corn is nicely toasted and infused with the flavor of the butter.
